Every parish has a responsibility to provide a safe environment which promotes and supports the wellbeing of everyone and protects them from harm. Olton Friary Parish has a team of two safeguarding representatives who are paricularly involved with the Disclosure and Barring system (DBS) and they defer to the Safeguarding Team at Cathedral House. The DBS ensures the safety for those carrying our Church ministries involving adults and children eg. Eucharistic Ministers, Catechists and Children's Liturgy.
