We call ourselves 'The Larks', as we have to be up early on a Sunday morning! We lead the congregational singing at 9am Mass with hymns and music for all parts of the Mass in a variety of styles. Instruments have included keyboard, flute, guitar, violin, saxophone and percussion for the children in the congregation.
We encourage young readers and musicians to be part of the group and have great support for this from families. Young singers and their parents are most welcome to join us.
A short rehearsal after 9am Mass occasionally takes places for learning new music, as well as a short weekly rehearsal just before Mass at 8:40. For Christmas and Easter services, and the Carol Service we join with the other parish choirs.
